GAIN Equine Nutrition announce their continued support of Race Series, \u2018GAIN The Advantage Series\u2019 for a second year.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Horse Racing Ireland are delighted to announce today that GAIN Equine Nutrition will continue their support of the GAIN The Advantage Series for a second year. This initiative achieved significant success in its inaugural year in 2021, with Toomevara trainer, Ray Hackett winning the overall trainers award and \u20ac5,000 of GAIN Equine Nutrition products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following positive feedback from the industry on the series last year, the 2022 series will adhere to the same format, featuring a variety of race conditions to cater for different trainers and horses throughout the season with an increase prize fund of 50%<\/strong> for each race in the series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each trainer<\/strong> will receive points for their successes over the course of the series through a grading process, which is designed to give equal opportunity to each trainer to win the overall prize. The number of points per win or placing at each leg will be based on the number of winners the trainer recorded throughout 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The GAIN The Advantage Series intends to recognise all connections of the horse, including the hard-working and dedicated stable staff<\/strong>, with a draw for one lucky groom to win a luxury weekend away in Ireland. The breeder<\/strong> of the winning horse from each race will receive a framed photograph of the horse they bred, and they will be entered into a draw to win one tonne of GAIN Equine Nutrition products. The lucky winner will be announced at the end of the series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The series will commence at the popular Easter Festival at Cork Racecourse on 16th April and then proceed to Navan, Ballinrobe, Fairyhouse, Tipperary, Killarney, Naas and the finale will be hosted at Leopardstown on 15 October where the overall winners of the series will be decided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is also important to the owners who carry the bills, they can have a horse who is competitive and getting good prize money, which is a huge help to them.
