\u20ac3,000 bonus on offer at the GAIN Mares Series Final<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

GAIN Equine Nutrition are delighted to continue their sponsorship of the \u2018GAIN Mares Series\u2019 for the 2023\/2024 point-to-point season. The opening race of this season\u2019s series will take place in Lisronagh with the Tipperary Hunt on Saturday, 4th<\/sup> November and conclude in the spring with the much anticipated final taking place in Ballynoe, Co. Cork.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

GAIN Equine Nutrition, along with the Ballynoe Point-to-Point committee will provide a \u20ac3,000 bonus for the winner of the final.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year, the launch took place in Co. Wexford with two local point to point trainers Matthew Flynn O\u2019Connor and Michael Goff. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Point to Point trainer, Michael Goff commented, \u201cThis series is extremely important for the mares in particular. Historically, the mares didn\u2019t have a great platform in point to pointing and since the GAIN Mares Series, it has definitely brought on the quality of the mares that are staying in the industry. It is a privilege to win the series final, or even to be in it. In the point to point game, any incentive like this is a massive boost. I have a mare that I am going to keep for the series this year and looking forward to the season.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Matty Flynn O\u2019Connor mentioned, \u201cThe series is massive for the everyday point to point person and the grassroots of the industry, we\u2019ve seen over the last few years the high calibre of mares coming out of the series.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

John Hore, Business Manager, GAIN Equine Nutrition, noted; \u201cThe GAIN Mares Series has been in operation for the last forty years and we are delighted to be supporting this series once again this year. Many fantastic mares that have won the final have gone on to bigger and better things, such as winning Listed and Graded races. There is always a great \u2018buzz\u2019 at Ballynoe for the final, it\u2019s a fantastic day out. I am looking forward to following the series and the build up to the final in March.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
