\u20ac3,000 bonus on offer at the GAIN Mares Series Final<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The GAIN Mares Series 2023\/2024 is set to conclude on Sunday, April 7th at Ballynoe point-to-point in Co. Cork.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The series, which spans from November through to April, has become a highlight of the point-to-point calendar, featuring over 20 locally-run events across seven counties in Ireland, with a strong following throughout the qualifying races, anticipation is high for this year’s final.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The competition promises to be fiercely contested, with a lineup of high-quality mares having competed in the qualifying legs. GAIN Equine Nutrition and the Ballynoe point-to-point committee will add to the excitement by presenting a bonus of \u20ac3,000 to the owner of the winning mare at the final.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last year’s final was an exhilarating affair, culminating in Mikey O’Connor and the seven-year-old mare ‘Majestic Design’ clinching victory on the day. Trained by Declan Quelly and owned by Fiona O\u2019Connor, their success added to the prestige of the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
