Normally, your vet will prescribe antibacterial medicine to help fight any infection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On occasion, a UTI can also be a sign of something more serious, like an underlying endocrine disease, so it\u2019s wise to contact your vet if you sense there is something wrong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>SYMPTOMS<\/u><\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Pain or discomfort when urinating<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Smaller amounts of urine<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Not urinating at all<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Blood in their urine<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These symptoms may also indicate other issues, such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><br>Feline Urinary Tract Disease (FLUTD)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>FLUTD refers to a variety of issues than can irritate your cat\u2019s bladder and urethra, often blocking the urethra, and stopping the bladder from properly emptying.
